Our mission is to provide high quality Photos and(or) Video catered to your individual project, event, and(or) business. Purple Reels believes in projects that foster healing, health, community, compassion, integrity, history, faith and love. 


Purple Reels founded The Truth Unchained Film Festival in 2013 and Purple Reels Pop Up Cinema in 2019. Purple Reels was honored in 2013 with a leadership award from Northwest Asian Weekly’s Women of Color Empowered. In May of 2019 Purple Reels Pop Up Cinema Day was formed with a Proclamation from the Mayor of Seattle, Jenny Durkan. Currently Purple Reels is actively hosting 'Purple Reels is Watching' a social platform showcasing the projects of Independent Filmmakers from around the world.

Purple Reels was initially founded in September of 2008 by Purpelle Tramble with a mission that was centered around the production of music videos and small business promo. Since then Purple Reels has covered many events from weddings, community events, private political events, graduations, birthdays, festivals, conferences, memorials and more.
